I am the owner and sole proprietor of Wright Piano. I believe in honesty, I believe in integrity, and I am committed to applying these beliefs to every job opportunity that comes my way.
When I was in college, I apprenticed for a short time with a piano tuner in my home town of Bellingham, Washington. He unfortunately passed away before my training was complete, but my interest in instrument repair remained. Ten years later, I came across an opportunity to learn piano tuning and repair via a correspondence course. I was admittedly a bit skeptical (how can you teach piano tuning through the mail?), but I decided it would, if nothing else, serve to fill in the gaps left from my unfinished apprenticeship. The course turned out to be great, and in 2002 I was finally able to start my own business.
I perform piano tuning and repair in the evenings and on weekends.
